HMS Chatham (F87) has come to Chatham Dockyard for a visit marking the 20th anniversary of its commissioning. She arrived Tuesday the 9th November and leaves on Monday 15th November. She is docked in the basin (Number 2, Middle Basin) on the right as you cross the bridge over to St. Mary's Island. During her six-day visit, the crew will take part in a number of activities including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day services in the Historic Dockyard, the Great Lines and Rochester Cathedral. On Saturday, from 9.30am until 5pm. the ship will be open for the public to go on board (there is no charge), view the ship, and meet the crew. On Sunday morning the ship will supply a full armed guard at the Great Lines Naval Memorial for a naval service - all are welcome.
