Ever wondered how the Great Lines Heritage Park got its name? Want to find out more about Chatham Dockyard and its Defences? Here’s your chance - The Chatham World Heritage Partnership is offering a free masterclass to help explain:
What is a World Heritage Site Why Chatham’s heritage is beyond compare Plans for the Great Lines Heritage Park How residents can get involved
The masterclass will take place at the Royal Engineers Museum from 7pm– 8.15pm, on Monday 13 June. Light refreshments will be served from 6pm.
Speakers will include Lindsey Morgan, Chair of the Chatham World Heritage Partnership, Joanne Cable, Chatham World Heritage manager, and Peter Kendall, from English Heritage.
The masterclass is free, but booking is essential. To reserve a place, or for more information, email chathamworldheritage@medway.gov.uk, or call 01634 331176. Long-standing members of the Chatham World Heritage Partnership are very welcome to attend, but are encouraged to bring a new friend, relative or colleague. Places should be reserved by 6 June please.
